Background

In the age of globalization, mass media are playing more and more important roles in our daily lives. With the advancement of information technology, the Royal Thai government has declared that mass communication is one of the most important approaches to strengthen the economy and society development. As a result, the demand of media producers and the media production industry for mass communication which serves a significant national strategy is increasing with  a great speed.

VISION

Managing the education in the field of mass communication technology and producing the human resources with the international quality.

MISSION

1. Producing the mass communication technology  graduates with moral  principles which is  

      leading towards  the international quality knowledge.

      2.   Providing academic contribution and research &
            development scheme in area of mass
           
communication medias.

2.      Aiming to be the learning and training centre in mass communication medias for national

            based and regional based level.

 

 

 

Academic

Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi realizes the significance of the human resources in the field of media production to serve the needs of the national industry and the development of the Thai nation. In 1990, RMUTT upgraded its educational level to Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology and Photography and Cinematography Technology. With more than fifty years of experience in providing media production technology, RMUTT has expanded its production manpower to reach the target of producing all kinds of media. It has also established the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology on December 4th, 2000. consisting of the following departments:

1.    The Department of Photography and Cinematography Technology offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Photography and Cinematography. Graduates can work in film, video, photography & sound recording as well as an entertainment industries.

2. The Department of Printing Technology offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Printing Technology to serve the printing industry in various fields such as commercialized printing, packaging printing,screen printing as well as digital printing.

3.    The Department of Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology to serve the radio and television broadcast production industries.

4.    The Department of Advertising and Public Relations Technology offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Advertising and Public Relations Technology to serve advertising agencies and public relations industries.

5.   The Department of Multimedia Technology offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Multimedia Technology
to serve the content Industry which are concerning
on animation, games, imaging and interactive technology. 

6.  The Department of Media Resources Management offers a Master’s degree program in Media Resources Management to systematically administer a variety of media resource production with modern technology. This department is now under processing and will be available in the near future.
